August 10, 2022: The Governor’s Race

In this less than five minute long podcast, Mel talks about the Governor’s race and the Hawaii Primary Election. The primary election will be held on August 13, though voting is now occurring. Hawaii has mail-in balloting and voters received their ballots on the last weeks of July. There is still time to send in your ballot by mail or taking them to a drop box on your island. After tomorrow, it is highly recommended to drop your ballot off at a dropbox instead of using the slow U.S. Mail. All ballots must be received at the ballot collection centers by August 13.

More information on voting at the Hawaii Elections Website.

Individual candidates have webpages to publicize their campaigns. The Honolulu Civil Beat website has good election coverage and profiles on many of the candidates.
