The Search For Snoopy Opens July 1

The Search for Snoopy attraction at Ala Moana Center held its blessing prior to Friday’s opening. It will be “An Immersive and Interactive Journey into the World of Peanuts!” according to their website at https://www.searchforsnoopy.com/.

Visitors will “Step into the Peanuts neighborhood and explore some of the most iconic locations from the comic strip. Explore Charlie Brown’s Bedroom, help Linus hunt for The Great Pumpkin, visit Lucy’s front lawn and her psychiatric help booth, and so much more!”…. uh,,,,okay.

The new attraction requires an admission charge, and is probably geared toward children, families and those adults who are still young at heart, who grew up reading the Peanuts comic strip as well as watching the holiday cartoon specials on TV over the years.

Without diving too deep into the website before being hit with an admission fee, I can tell you that they will have two pricing tiers. There is a general admission price, which I assume is good for only one admission and a VIP Anytime tier, likely at a higher price.

Unlike the It’s Sugar super candy store across from this, Snoopy’s place is a paid amusement that I don’t intend to visit anytime soon. I wish them luck at Ala Moana Center, where the tourists from Japan have not arrived in masse due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
