Reflective

A reflective scene at Ala Moana Park

August 18, 2022: Hawaii Files Photo of the Day

I missed posting a photo yesterday (August 17). Been busy.

Today I am back with this photo from 2009. It was taken using my Minolta X-700 35mm single lens reflex (SLR) camera. Shooting with film is a different experience as you never know what you will get after you get the roll of film processed. On this particular roll, this nicely down tree with the otherwise stagnant pond in the background provided for this nice, reflective image.

Ala Moana Park is one of my favorite places to go and take a walk. There are photo opportunities there too.

As for film photography, I am slowly getting back into that. I have dozens of film cameras in my home. Might as well make use of them despite the high cost of film and processing. More photos from my film taking adventures are coming soon someday.

Click on the photo to see it at its full size. Thanks for stopping by.
