Scoping the First Hawaiian Auto Show

The annual First Hawaiian International Auto Show happens this weekend, March 18 to 20 at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. First Hawaiian Bank and Motor Trend Magazine sponsors the highly popular car show which features many of the latest 2016 and 2017 models from several auto manufacturers and dealerships. A good collection of vintage and classic vehicles are also on display.

The car show is a great way to spend your weekend for those who love cars, thinking of buying a new one or just plain having fun. Many people just go there to take “selfies” of themselves and their friends near or in costly, high end vehicles that most mortals cannot afford. For this writer, taking a photo of all the vehicles is an easy and cheap way to “own” a car via captured image vs. actually to have buy one.
