Announcing the New Bypass Avenue Blog

According to the American Heart Association, February is Heart Month. This annual observance is mandated by Title 36 of the United States Code. Heart Month is mandated to get the American public aware of heart and blood vessel diseases and programs that can be implemented to solve heart disease problems.

This month is a good time as ever to introduce my readers to a new blog that I started. It’s called Bypass Avenue, Life’s Second Chance. The blog tells my personal story of a heart attack I suffered on December 26, 2015 and my recovery since open heart surgery on December 30. The procedure was done at Kaiser Medical Center in Moanalua.

This is a major reason why this blog was not updated since my Christmas entry on Dec. 25.

I hope to post regularly here at the Hawaii Files in the near future and will also update my other blogs and websites.
