WiFi in Hawaii

WiFi Hotspots in Hawaii

Currently this list is mostly Honolulu centric but some of the places also have neighbor island locations. Several of sites listed below are linked to their wifi information pages. Some hotspots require registration and login.

While traveling throughout Hawaii, you will find that the most dominant wifi provider is Spectrum Cable. You must be a Spectrum customer to access their wifi hotspots. Several are secured. Hawaiian Telcom also provides some wifi hotspots for their customers.

A major caveat on using any public wifi site: Be careful. There are plenty of things that could go bad for you when on a public wifi network. It is highly recommended that you use a VPN service when connected to public wifi.

Use common sense. Don’t do anything that requires access to your personal information such as bank accounts, online shopping transactions, etc.  Some people have gone to the extreme to discourage the use of public wifi. You have your own freedom to weigh the risks and choose.
