Darkness - Diamond Head Lighthouse
This was taken a few years ago. Minolta XD11 SLR.
August 21, 2022 – Hawaii Files Photo of the Day

A few years ago, I shot this and a few other photos at the Diamond Head lookout in the very early morning hours, more than likely waiting for the sunrise. The lookout is a great place to catch a sunrise from October to March, when the sun tends to rise from the southeast.

In this image you can see the outline of the nearby shrubbery that grows around the Diamond Head Lighthouse. The lighthouse is a major landmark in this area.

The photo was taken with Kodak Tri-X 400 black and white film more than likely with my Minolta XD11 35mm SLR camera. Click on the image to see the larger version.
