The Morning Ocean

Just after the break of dawn

It was out an about early morning with the new Pixel 4a smartphone to gather more photos of my usual walking spot. Today once again, it was Magic Island. I haven’t done a sunrise series in a while so this is a feeble attempt. The sunrise was not too spectacular, but the colors were good.

More than a year after the initial COVID-19 clamp down, things are returning to normal as the parks fill up with more people doing daily, normal things. Finally Hawaii has caught up with most of the mainland where the mask requirements have been relaxed for outdoor activities at least. It is nice to walk around “mask free”.

Hope you folks had a great weekend and enjoy the photos and the bonus video. Click on each photo to see it at a larger size.

The morning ocean always breaks at the man-made shoreline of Magic Island Park.
