Photographer friend Nathan Nitta snapped these images at the end of the protest march to Iolani Palace yesterday morning (January 17) where Hawaiian activists gathered for their annual observance marking the date the Kingdom of Hawaii ended back in 1893. The annual gathering of Hawaiian groups is often a colorful and loud as some of these images portray.
